The Officials of ANDMA and the World Food Programme (WFP) had a Technical Meeting regarding joint cooperation

Today, On Thursday morning, a technical meeting on joint cooperation between the Officials of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and the World Food Programme was held in the presence of the Director of Personnel Affairs, Alhaj Molvi Mohammad Abid Noomani, the Director of Planning and Policy, Mullah Mohammad Jawed Abbas, the WFP Communications Officer, Ann Short, the Emergency Affairs Officer, Munsefullah Anwari, the Planning Officer, Abdul Razzaq Ayubi, the Humanitarian Assistance Officer, Abdul Ghafoor Nawabi and several other directors of the authority.
During the meeting, the Director of Personnel Affairs, Alhaj Molvi Mohammad Abed Noomani, emphasized that the World Food Programme has consistently provided humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, for which we express our appreciation and hope for the continuation and expansion of this aid.
He added that the authority’s activities are non-political and its primary goal is to assist those affected by disasters. He also requested the World Food Programme to further increase its assistance.
At the same time, Ann Short, the WFP Communications Officer, thanked the authority for its cooperation and stated that their organization is always striving to provide better services to the people.
She emphasized that both sides would work together to accelerate the process of delivering aid to affected families and provide them with improved services.
Subsequently, the meeting participants presented detailed reports on their activities and achievements, underscoring the need for continuous coordination and cooperation in the field of humanitarian assistance.
