The Director General of ANDMA laid the foundation stone for the new administrative building of the Parwan Province Disaster Management Directorate

The Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, honorable Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, after visits to the provinces of Maidan Wardag, Logar, Kapisa and Panjsher, traveled to Parwan Province together with the Director of the agency’s Emergency Operations Center, honorable Mullah Sayed Ahmad Usmani, and the director of Media and Publications and spokesperson, honorable Mohammad Yousuf Hammad. In the presence of the Deputy Governor of Parwan Province, honorable Haji Mawlawi Abu Al Wafa Usmani, and local officials, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new administrative building of the Parwan Province Disaster Management Directorate in the city of Charikar.

In the foundation-laying ceremony, honorable Turabi Sahb stated that as a result of continuous day-and-night efforts, this year His Excellency the Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) has approved the construction of four administrative buildings for us, and Parwan Province is one of those provinces. He added that all details of the project have been discussed with the contracting company, and the company is obligated to implement the project swiftly, with full transparency, and in accordance with engineering standards.

The Director General of the agency further emphasized that officials will continuously monitor the progress of the work to ensure the project is implemented correctly and to proper standards.

Likewise, the staff of the Parwan Province Disaster Management Directorate expressed their happiness at the commencement of construction work on the building and regarded it as an important and effective step toward providing timely and efficient services to the people.
