A cooperation agreement was signed between the National Disaster Management Authority and the Technical and Development Institute (ACTED) Turabi Sahb expressed his gratitude about signing the agreement which provides cash and non-food assistance to the people. He thanked the entire team of the institute and emphasized that this assistance should continue so that the people can benefit from the services. He also stressed that all institutions and organizations should work fundamentally for the welfare of the Afghan people so that they can benefit from these services.
The deputy director of ACTED, Alexandra Yolies, thanked the staff of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and said that they promptly address their work. She also pointed out that it is necessary for other international organizations to cooperate and provide various assistance to the National Disaster Management Authority.
This project, worth $2,132,509, will provide assistance to 4,820 families in the northern, western, and eastern provinces of Afghanistan. The assistance includes cash payments of $331 to each of 1,280 families, $345 to each of 1,940 families and the distribution of non-food items to 1,600 families.
Finally, the agreement was signed, and the continuation of joint cooperation was emphasized.
