Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority Activates Training Center and Launches Capacity-Building Programs for Learning Computer Applications

Under the guidance of the esteemed leadership of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, the Directorate of Human Resources, in collaboration with the Department of Training and Institutional Development, has initiated a capacity-building program for learning computer applications. This program targets newly appointed directors and staff members who have not yet undergone training. It is being conducted at the directorate's training center, which is equipped with 20 computer workstations.
In the first phase of this program, 50 central staff members and directors will learn basic computer applications in three different sessions. The classes officially began today.
It is worth noting that this training center was originally established in 1399 Hijri (2020) under the name "Human Resources Training Center" with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). However, due to the inefficiency and lack of utilization by the previous administration, it had become completely inactive.
Fortunately, under the direction of the current leadership of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, the center has been reactivated and is now operational. It is planned to offer various computer training programs to the staff of this directorate.
