Activities and Achievements

The Directorate of Monitoring and Evaluation carries out the following key responsibilities to ensure effective operations at both central and provincial levels:

1. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of laws, decrees, orders and other legal documents.

2. Oversee and assess the application of policies and procedures to improve the performance of staff at central and provincial levels.

3. Supervise and evaluate the contracts, transportation and distribution processes of aid items for disaster-affected people across the country.

4. Monitor the management of emergency operations to ensure transparency in preparing, delivering and distributing aid during emergencies.

5. Ensure compliance with relevant laws in all administrative activities.

6. Verify that regulations, procedures and guidelines are followed in distributing aid to disaster-affected individuals.

7. Monitor the implementation of leadership directives and instructions at central and provincial directorates.

8. Oversee and evaluate the quality and fair distribution of purchased items for disaster-affected people at central and provincial levels.

9. Monitor and assess the implementation of policies and guidelines in emergency, developmental and preventive projects and programs.

10. Supervise and evaluate projects, quality, procurement, costs, timelines and communications to ensure tasks are performed effectively.

11. Monitor and evaluate the distribution of cash and in-kind aid provided by national and international organizations for disaster-affected people.

12. Oversee and assess the distribution of aid and the implementation of preventive projects in accordance with procedures at central and provincial levels.

13. Monitor and evaluate emergency operations and the process of reaching disaster-affected people nationwide.

14. Supervise and evaluate the maintenance of warehouses, the receipt and recording of items and inventory management processes.

15. Monitor and assess the management and performance of central and provincial staff in line with relevant procedures.

16. Collaborate with relevant directorates to participate in evaluating the disaster response process for accountability.

17. Monitor and evaluate the treatment of affected individuals before and after disasters, during both emergency and normal situations.

18. Oversee and evaluate the administration’s preventive and developmental projects based on the implementation plan to improve quality.

19. Monitor and evaluate compliance with applicable laws in all activities of relevant departments.
