ORCD Global Organization Donated 32 Essential Medicines to the Healthcare Center of ANDMA

Today in morning, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the Director of ORCD Global, Dr. Haidar at his office to discuss the donation of medicines provided by the organization to the authority’s healthcare center.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb warmly welcomed the delegation from ORCD Global and expressed gratitude for their assistance. He noted that some time ago, the authority received 3.5 tons of various medicines from Uzbekistan. However, instead of storing these medicines in warehouses, they were distributed to 12 clinics associated with the Torkham refugee camp and public health hospitals, as hoarding medicines unnecessarily is considered impermissible under Sharia law.
The Acting Head emphasized that the people of Afghanistan need all forms of assistance, and the authority welcomes every contribution, whether large or small, with open arms.
On the same occasion, Dr. Haidar, Director of ORCD Global, thanked the authority for its cooperation in implementing past projects and described the authority as a vital, effective, and proactive institution. He further stated that, in response to the authority’s request, 32 essential medicines have been procured today for the authority’s healthcare center and will be delivered to the facility to address the needs of staff during emergencies.
