The General Director of ANDMA Visited Flood-Affected Areas in Kapisa Province

Today, on Tuesday, following his visits to Maidan Wardak and Logar provinces, the General Director of ANDMA, the respected Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, together with the Director of the Authority’s Emergency Operations Center, respected Mullah Sayed Ahmad Usmani, the Director of Media and Publications and Spokesperson, respected Mohammad Yousuf Hammad, and a number of officials from the Kapisa Provincial Disaster Management Directorate, traveled to Isa Khel village in Tagab District of the mentioned province and inspected the areas damaged by the recent floods.

In order to address the people’s problems, the respected Turabi stated that we will utilize all available resources to serve and assist you, because our Authority has been established to help and support those affected by disasters. He further added that the necessary cash, food, and non-food assistance will be distributed to the affected people both through the Authority’s own resources and in coordination with aid organizations.

Subsequently, the General Director of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority instructed the officials of the Kapisa Provincial Disaster Management Directorate to complete an accurate and transparent survey of the flood-affected families as soon as possible, and to distribute the assistance fairly and transparently to the eligible families based on needs and priorities.

It is worth noting that the General Director of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority will visit all those areas in various provinces that have been damaged by the recent floods.
