The National Disaster Management Authority and the Islamic Relief Foundation have signed an important agreement to help people in Afghanistan
Today, on Monday, the head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Noor Ud din Turabi, welcomed the team from the Islamic Relief Foundation, led by Ahmad Shah Wafa.
Turabi Sahb said, “it's crucial to continue helping people in Afghanistan, especially those affected by natural disasters and other crises”.
Furthermore, he emphasized the need for organizations to work together to make a positive impact.
Mr. Wafa explained that his organization provides various forms of assistance, including financial support, food and other essential items to families in need.
He highlighted their ongoing collaboration with the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority.
The agreement includes a project worth $436392 to help 953 families in Ghour Province; Faroz Koh and Allah Yar districts where each family will receive $357 which equals 24300 AFN as winter aid.
Additionally, Turabi Sahb requested the Islamic Relief Foundation to also help 300 families displaced by floods in Ghour Province.
