The Director General of ANDMA Visited the Flood-Affected Areas of Parwan Province

Today, on Tuesday, honorable Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, after visiting Maidan Wardag, Logar, Kapisa and Panjshir, traveled together with Haji Mawlawi Abu Al Wafa Usmani, Deputy Governor of Parwan; honorable Mullah Sayed Ahmad Usmani, Director of the Emergency Operations Center; honorable Hafiz Mohammad Yousuf Hammad, director of Information and Publications; honorable Mawlawi Abdul Aleem Afzali, director of the Disaster Management Directorate of Parwan Province; and a number of local officials to Siahgard District of this province, where they inspected the areas damaged by the recent floods.

During his visit to the affected areas, honorable Turabi sb stated: “We have come to these areas to closely assess the situation, and we assure you that we will utilize all our available resources as well as those of partner organizations to ensure the necessary assistance reaches the people, for Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority was established precisely for this purpose.”

Furthermore, the Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority instructed the officials of the Parwan Province Disaster Management Directorate to complete a precise and transparent survey of the flood-affected families as soon as possible, so that aid can be distributed fairly and transparently to the deserving families in accordance with their needs and priorities.

It is worth noting that the Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority will visit all areas that have been affected by the recent floods.
