A collaboration agreement worth $139,182 was signed between Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and Razi Development and Social Organization

Today, Tuesday, the acting head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with Abdul Nasir Pouya, the Coordination Officer of the Razi Development and Social Organization, in his office.
Turabi Sahb welcomed the Coordination Officer of Razi Development and Social Organization and expressed his pleasure in signing an agreement that aims to deliver aid to the people. He urged the organization's team to ensure that these aid packages reach the people as soon as possible so they can benefit from essential winter supplies.
He further noted that two similar agreements had been signed with this organization in the past, which provided assistance to people in Herat province.
Abdul Nasir Pouya, the Coordination Officer of Razi Development and Social Organization, thanked the acting head of ANDMA for facilitating their work without delay. He also extended his gratitude to the entire ANDMA team and emphasized the need for other organizations and international agencies to collaborate with ANDMA in responding to natural and non-natural disasters.
The agreement, worth $139,182, focuses on distributing winter relief packages to 500 earthquake-affected families in Herat province. Each package which values $200, includes, 5 blankets, 5 sets of warm clothing for children, 2 sets of warm clothing for adults, 2 women’s shawls, 2 men’s, scarves, 2 pairs of adult shoes, 4 pairs of children’s shoes, 12 pairs of socks, 4 pairs of gloves and 4 hats.
Additionally, 10 women who are the sole breadwinners of their families will each receive a sewing machine with complete accessories.
