ANDMA and the Afghan Youth Services Organization signed an MoU for Collaborative Projects Worth $484,707

Today before noon, Honorable Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met with Honorable Engineer Abdul Habib Tahrir, Executive Director of the Afghan Youth Services Organization (AYSO), at his office and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint cooperation.
At the outset, Honorable Turabi welcomed the AYSO delegation and emphasized that organizations must maintain complete transparency and efficiency in their activities to ensure timely assistance reaches affected families. He further stated that the authority’s staff in the provinces are fully prepared to cooperate with organizations in areas such as surveys, distribution, and other related activities.
Subsequently, Honorable Engineer Abdul Habib Tahrir, Executive Director of AYSO, provided information about the organization’s past and ongoing projects, reaffirming their commitment to implementing activities with transparency, efficiency, and full coordination with the authority’s provincial officials.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties signed an MoU valued at a total of $484,707. Under this agreement, food packages will be distributed over four months to 2,430 deserving families in the Jawand, Qadis, and Qala-e-Naw districts of Badghis province. These packages include 50 kilograms of flour, 4 liters of cooking oil, 4 kilograms of lentils and half a kilogram of salt.
