The Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority  Visited the Camp for Forcibly Deported Migrants in Laghman Province

Today, on Wednesday, at 6:00 AM, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority , Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, traveled to Laghman Province after visiting Torkham. Accompanied by Qari Khair Mohammad Ghazi, the Head of Laghman’s Disaster Management Department, he visited the camp for forcibly deported migrants in the Sar Khakan area of Qarghayi District.
During the visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb received information from the Head of Laghman’s Disaster Management Department regarding the migrants’ challenges and the existing obstacles to providing better assistance. He stated that the IEA is committed to addressing the affairs of migrants effectively.
Furthermore, acknowledging the existing issues, Alhaj Turabi  Sahb pledged the delivery of 500 blankets to the camp. He also provided some cash assistance to the Head of Laghman’s Disaster Management Department to improve support for the forcibly deported migrants.
At the same time, the Acting Head of ANDMA met with several forcibly returned individuals, listened to their concerns, expressed empathy, and encouraged them to remain patient. He noted that the Islamic Emirate has tasked a high-level commission, comprising members of the Council of Ministers, to address their issues.
