Visit of the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority to the Disaster Management Directorate of Ghor Province and Meeting with the Provincial Governor
Today, On Tuesday, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mulla Nooruddin Turabi, traveled to Ghor Province to visit the Provincial Disaster Management Directorate and oversee its operations.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb met individually with each staff member of the directorate, listened to their challenges and suggestions and encouraged them to provide effective and timely services.
Additionally, Alhaj Turabi Sahb visited the warehouse of the directorate in Ghor Province, issuing necessary instructions to the relevant officials regarding the proper storage of food and non-food items, organized arrangement of goods, maintaining order and distributing essential supplies to those in need based on requirements. He also reviewed the filing system for legislative documents and correspondence and provided cash assistance to all staff members.
Furthermore, during this visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb met with the Governor of Ghor Province, Honorable Molvi Hayatullah Mubarak. The two sides discussed strategies for disaster management, timely assistance to affected individuals and the implementation of preventive projects to mitigate disaster risks.
Subsequently, the Acting Head met with tribal elders of Ghor Province, listened to their concerns and suggestions, and reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing disaster management efforts in the province. The tribal elders, in turn, pledged their cooperation in this regard.
Finally, Alhaj Turabi Sahb visited the orphanage center under the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the province. He expressed compassion for the orphans, distributed cash assistance to them and emphasized that providing education and a healthy environment for orphaned children is not only a responsibility but also a humanitarian and religious duty, which the Islamic Emirate prioritizes.
