Visit of the Acting Head of ANDMA to Samangan Province

Today, on Friday, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, arrived in Samangan Province as part of his tour to several provinces to oversee and improve the administrative operations of ANDMA’s provincial offices. During his visit, he inspected the Samangan Provincial Disaster Management Directorate and reviewed its operational processes.
Honorable Turabi Sahb met individually with each employee of the directorate, listened to their challenges, suggestions and recommendations and encouraged them to provide timely and effective services.
Additionally, Honorable Turabi Sahb visited ANDMA’s warehouse in Samangan Province and issued necessary instructions to the relevant officials regarding the proper storage, organization and management of food and non-food items, maintaining order, and distributing essential supplies to those in need based on requirements. He also ensured the delivery of all legislative documents to the provincial directorates, their comprehension, review by the relevant heads, implementation, and proper archiving of all documents.
Furthermore, Honorable Turabi Sahb thoroughly reviewed the effective use of all published materials and the ongoing projects in the province. 
It is worth mentioning that some time ago, delegations from ANDMA headquarters were sent to various provinces to monitor and evaluate operational processes. These delegations identified certain shortcomings, which were communicated to all provincial directorates through a unified letter from ANDMA headquarters. Instructions were provided to address these deficiencies, and now, the Acting Head of ANDMA has conducted a comprehensive review of the service delivery processes in Samangan to ensure these shortcomings have been addressed.
The purpose of the Acting Head’s visit is to gather the opinions, challenges and suggestions of provincial employees, organize offices, create a structured work environment, establish full coordination with provincial authorities, improve document archiving, establish standardized warehouses, address deficiencies and implement preventive projects.
During his visit, Honorable Turabi Sahb also met with the Deputy Governor of Samangan Province, Honorable Molvi Dadkhuda Khadim. 
In this meeting, both sides discussed disaster management strategies, timely assistance to affected communities and the implementation of preventive projects to mitigate risks.
In conclusion, the Acting Head of ANDMA encouraged the employees of the Samangan Provincial Disaster Management Directorate to treat clients with respect, perform their duties promptly and without delay, utilize public resources appropriately, adhere to administrative principles and serve as true public servants while leveraging their professional expertise for the country’s progress. He also distributed cash assistance to the employees.
