Visit of the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority to the Bamyan Provincial Disaster Management Directorate and Meeting with the Provincial Governor

Today, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, traveled to Bamyan Province and visited the Provincial Disaster Management Directorate, where he reviewed its operations.
Honorable Alhaj Turabi Sahb met individually with each staff member of the directorate, listened to their challenges and suggestions and encouraged all employees to provide timely and effective services.
Additionally, Alhaj Turabi Sahb visited the directorate’s warehouse in Bamyan Province, where he issued necessary instructions to the relevant officials regarding the storage of food and non-food items, their proper organization, maintaining order and the distribution of essential supplies to those in need based on requirements. He also reviewed the filing system for legislative documents and other correspondence and provided cash assistance to all staff members.
Furthermore, during this trip, Honorable Alhaj Turabi Sahb met with the Governor of Bamyan Province, Honorable Mawlavi Abdullah Sarhadi.
In this meeting, both sides discussed disaster management procedures, timely assistance to affected individuals and the implementation of preventive projects to mitigate disaster risks.
