Two Memorandums of Understanding were Signed between ANDMA and OHW Organization
This afternoon, Sunday, the General Director of Finance and Administration and Acting Head of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), Alhaj Molvi Mohammad Alam Alamyar, met with Dr. Hikmatullah Usmani, Deputy Director of the OHW Organization.
During this meeting, two memorandums of understanding (MoUs) were signed to facilitate mutual cooperation between the two entities.
In the meeting, both parties discussed the delivery of assistance to vulnerable populations during the winter season, other related activities, and the importance of sustained collaboration. They emphasized the need for coordination in implementing the projects.
The first Memorandum of Understanding which worth $737,548, was signed to assist 1,830 vulnerable families in Helmand, Sar-e Pul, and Takhar provinces. Specifically: 720 families in Helmand,
340 families in Sar-e Pol, and
770 families in Takhar Wher each family will receive: $200 worth of fuel, $74 worth of winter clothing, and $57 worth of five blankets.
While the second Memorandum of Understanding which focuses on Anjeel District of Herat province, was signed with a total value of $93,554. This includes the construction of 75 toilets, distribution of five blankets to 150 families, provision of $70 cash for 50 families, installation of solar power systems for 150 families, and provision of water filters for 75 families.
