An MoU worth 10,880$ was Signed Between ANDMA and the Afghanistan Resilience and Climate Innovation Development (ARCID) Organization for Cooperation

Today, in morning, His Excellency Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the General Director of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met with Mr. Ehsanullah Alfi, the Director of the Afghanistan Resilience and Climate Innovation Development (ARCID) Organization, at his office. During the meeting, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint cooperation.
His Excellency Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi warmly welcomed the ARCID Director and emphasized that the people of Afghanistan require assistance in every sector. He expressed hope that organizations would focus particularly on implementing preventive projects to support the nation’s afflicted population. He further urged that projects be executed with speed and transparency.
Subsequently, Mr. Ehsanullah Alfi, the Director of ARCID, presented details about his organization’s project, affirming that it would be implemented within the framework of the Islamic Emirate’s laws.
It is noteworthy that both parties signed an MoU valued at USD 10,880. Under this agreement, humanitarian assistance will be provided to 488 families affected by natural disasters in the districts of Deh Bala, Achin, Kot, Bati Kot, Dur Baba, Nazian, Hisarak, Shirzad, Spin Ghar, Khogyani, Rodat, Surkh Rod, Shinwari, Pachir Agam, and Behsud, as well as Jalalabad city in Nangarhar province. The assistance includes the distribution of standard food packages from the World Food Programme (WFP) and cash aid. Each family will receive AFN 5,800 in cash and food items, distributed in two phases, consisting of 100 kg of flour, 9.1 kg of cooking oil, 1 kg of salt and 12.5 kg of lentils per family.
