An MoU of Joint Cooperation was Signed between ANDMA and the ODSAD Organization

On Sunday afternoon, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mulla Nooruddin Turabi, met with Khalil-ur-Rehman Rahmani, Deputy Head of the ODSAD Organization, at his office and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for joint cooperation.
During the meeting, Alhaj Turabi Sahb stated that the environment is conducive for humanitarian activities by all organizations across the country, and efforts are being made to facilitate aid delivery for every organization operating in any province.
The Acting Head of ANDMA further noted that provincial directorates have been instructed to cooperate with organizations and address their challenges promptly.
Meanwhile, Khalil-ur-Rehman Rahmani, Deputy Head of ODSAD, stated that the organization provides assistance to the people of Afghanistan in various sectors and strives to deliver aid to those in need on time.
Both parties signed an MoU worth USD 40,900 aimed at enhancing community resilience in the Namak Ab District of Takhar Province through risk reduction, emergency response, and life-saving measures.
Under this MoU, the following activities will be implemented: emergency assessments of affected areas using the UN-OCHA cluster standard form; distribution of cash assistance to 460 workers, with 300 workers receiving 427 AFN per day and 160 workers receiving 800 AFN per day; organization of training programs for beneficiaries and distribution of work tools; provision of construction materials for the building of retaining, gabion, and protective walls; provision of transportation facilities in Takhar Province; and implementation of training programs for the staff of the Takhar Provincial Disaster Management Directorate and ODSAD Organization.
