Biography of Mr. Ahmad Tamim Azimi, Spokesman in State Ministry for Disaster Management

 Mr. Ahmad Tamim Azimi, son of Abdul Aziz, was born in Taleqan of Takhar province in 1995 in an educated family.

He completed his elementary and secondary education at the high school of Mullah Abdulodud Shahid in Takhar province and in 2013, after passing the exam, he entered the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Takhar University and completed successfully in 2016. His Secondary and higher education were good with good achievements. In addition to having a high school degree in college and a great spell in the country's academic programs, he also worked as an English language teacher at the Azeruksh and ALC Learning Centers in Takhar province during the years 2010 to 2016. For the first time in 2015 he established the lecturing training classes at ALC's Learning Center and beside to spent some of his time in teaching English and his education, he started to teach speaking skills.

Then, from 2016 to 2018, he worked at the Law and Treaties Department in Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an English Translator and agreements’ arranger. After that, he was appointed as head Office of the State Ministry for Disaster Management in 2018. Which in 2018 was appointed by the free competition as internal audit in this ministry, and beside of the internal audit task, he appointed as spokesman of the department by the order of the State Minister of this ministry also.

In addition to his responsibilities in the State Ministry for Disaster Management, Mr. Azimi because of his interest to teaching, he pursuing his enlightenment through teaching at the Isteqlal University, writing papers and conducting scientific research. He also determined to pursue his education and is on the verge of a master's degree in International Relations at the University of Ibn Sina.

He is also a member of the Afghan Youth for Peace Group, and participated in the following seminars and research activities:

• Participation in the International Law Symbolic Tribunal in January 2015 and 2016, sponsored by Lispa and Elesa in coordination with Washington and Ohio State University.
• Participation in the allegorical court of media rights in 2015 in Kabul province.
• Participation in the Ministers’ conference of Asia-related Disaster Response in Alanbothour, Mongolia, 2018.
• participation in the Sixth Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Geneva, Switzerland, 2019.
