The Acting Head of ANDMA Visits Torkham Camp, Emphasizes Expediting Work

Today, in morning, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mulla Nooruddin Turabi, visited and inspected the progress of the committees tasked with establishing the authority’s camp in Torkham.
During the visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb held separate discussions with officials and workers from various sections, gathering information on the progress and quality of the work. He also listened to their suggestions and concerns.
Additionally, he conducted separate inspections of the installation of tents, gravel road construction, the building of toilets and bathrooms, and other related activities, closely reviewing operations and emphasizing the need to expedite work.
While encouraging the workers during this inspection, the authority’s acting head stressed transparency and the swift execution of tasks. He further stated that all necessary facilities, such as medicines and other medical equipment, must be provided at the authority’s hospital, which was established in collaboration with the MDC organization.
