The Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority visited a Refugee Camp in Takhta Pul district, where migrants, forcibly expelled from Pakistan through Boldak district, are being sheltered

Today in afternoon, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, visited the refugee camp in Takhta Pul district, which houses migrants forcibly deported from Pakistan via Boldak district.
During his visit to the camp, Alhaj Turabi Sahb inspected the offices of both governmental and non-governmental international organizations present at the site. He received comprehensive information from the camp’s supervisor, Mullah Rahmatullah Akhund, in the presence of the Director of Refugees for Kandahar Province, Molvi Badam Sahib, the Director of Transport for Kandahar Province, Molvi Adam Sahib and other governmental officials. The Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority expressed gratitude to the officials of these organizations for their commendable services.
Furthermore, Alhaj Turabi Sahb encouraged the refugees to remain patient and resilient in the face of challenges. He stated that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has made and continues to make every effort to provide them with basic necessities. He assured the refugees that the IEA is fully committed and prepared to cooperate with them in every possible way.
