The Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority met with Gate’s Foundation Advisor

In morning, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met at his office with Ana Maria, an advisor to the Gate’s Foundation, Dr. Khushal Zaman, a representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Rawdatullah Zia.
Turabi Sahb began by welcoming the delegation from the Gate’s Foundation, noting that the foundation has consistently provided various forms of assistance to the people of Afghanistan. He expressed hope that these collaborations would continue.
He also emphasized that the foundation should cooperate in areas such as disaster management, coordination of humanitarian aid, public awareness regarding landmine risks, and other related sectors.
Meanwhile, Gate’s Foundation advisor Ana Maria thanked the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority for providing the opportunity for this meeting. She stressed that various organizations and institutions should collaborate with the authority and assured that the Gates Foundation would strive to continue its cooperation with it.
