Two joint cooperation agreements were signed between the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and the international organization World Vision, with a total value of $8,907,137

Today, on Thursday, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the acting head of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met with Abdul Wahab Arash, head of the World Vision Organisation office in Kabul, at his office.
At the beginning of the meeting, Turabi Sahb welcomed the World Vision Organisation delegation and emphasized that, with the arrival of winter, people are in greater need of assistance than ever, and organizations must ensure timely distribution of winter aid.
He also expressed his appreciation for World Vision’s activities and assistance to affected families during the winter season and once again stressed the importance of expediting aid distribution.
Abdul Wahab Arash, head of the World Vision Organisation office in Kabul, stated that this organization has been operating in Afghanistan since 2001, providing assistance to people in various provinces.
Mr. Arash thanked the acting head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, noting that the authority has always cooperated with them.
It is worth mentioning that the first agreement, valued at $1,678,657, was signed. According to this agreement, in  the districts of Herat province which includes Kushk Kohna, Injil, and Zindajan, 2,782 needy families will receive a monthly amount of $41.7 (or its equivalent in Afghanis) for five months. Additionally, in Badghis province, in the districts of Muqur, Bala Murghab, and Ghormach, 2,783 needy families will receive the same monthly amount for five months.
The second agreement, valued at $7,228,480, was also signed. According to this agreement, in Faryab province, 11,110 families, and in Badghis province, 11,109 families—a total of 22,219 families—will receive a monthly amount of $37.5 for six months.
In total, $4,999,275 will be distributed in cash to these families during this period.
Additionally, 550 families who were left out of receiving aid in the previous phase are included in this agreement.
