The Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority Emphasizes Transparency and Acceleration in Preparing Facilities for Deported Returnees at Omari Camp

On Friday afternoon, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, visited and inspected the operations of the assigned committees at the Authority’s camp in Torkham.
During the visit, AlhajTurabi Sahb held separate meetings and discussions with officials and staff from various sections, listening to their reports on work progress, issues, challenges, and suggestions.
He reiterated the need for transparency and acceleration in the construction process of the camp, emphasizing that all necessary facilities must be provided for forcibly deported returnees.
It is worth noting that the camp is currently being equipped with facilities such as the construction of warehouses, a standard health clinic, well-organized toilets and bathrooms, a clean water system, reliable electricity, and high-quality tents for migrants.
