The Acting Head of ANDMA Oversees Construction of a Culvert in Nemroz Province’s Khashrud District

Today, on Sunday, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, visited Khashrud District in Nemroz Province as part of his official trip. During the visit, he inspected and monitored the ongoing construction process of a culvert in the district.
This project, valued at 243,680 Afghanis, is being implemented to strengthen local infrastructure, facilitate transportation and reduce risks caused by floods. It forms part of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority’s efforts to enhance resilience against natural disasters.
During the visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb emphasized the importance of adhering to technical standards, accelerating the pace of work, ensuring transparency and addressing the needs of project implementation. He also urged the project implementation team to maintain close coordination with the local administration.
Furthermore, he stated that Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority is committed to meeting the needs of the people by implementing projects across the country, providing better service delivery, and reducing the risks of disasters caused by natural events.
