The Acting Head of ANDMA had a Visit to the Migrant Camp at the Kabul Terminal

Today in afternoon, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Mulla Nooruddin Turabi, visited the migrant camp located at the Kabul Terminal in the capital city of Kabul. The purpose of this visit was to assess the current situation of migrants deported from neighboring countries, identify their immediate challenges and needs and plan urgent measures to address the camp's issues.
During the visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb personally met with the migrants, listened to their problems, challenges, and suggestions and gained insight into their living conditions, humanitarian needs, available facilities, and critical shortages in areas such as emergency shelter, drinking water, healthcare services and other essential amenities.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb emphasized that Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority considers it its duty to stand by vulnerable compatriots, particularly migrants and to take urgent steps to improve living conditions in the camp by mobilizing domestic resources and collaborating with international organizations.
He further stressed that all shortages and needs in the camp would be comprehensively reviewed and addressed as quickly as possible, ensuring that the esteemed migrants can be relocated to their original areas with dignity.
Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority is committed to working in coordination with other national and international institutions to take necessary and practical measures to ensure the welfare, support, and resolution of the migrants' situation.
