A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and Darman Organization

Today, Sunday, the acting head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the project manager of Darman Organization, Mohammad Saber Ali Khil, in his office and signed a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation between the two entities.
Turabi Sahb encouraged the organization to prioritize their winter aid initiatives with the arrival of winter so that people can benefit from the assistance in a timely manner. He emphasized that the organization’s efforts will be closely coordinated with Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority to ensure timely completion. He also expressed hope that the organization would attract more funding to initiate additional projects for public service.
At the same time, Mohammad Saber Ali Khil, the project manager of Darman Organization, praised the leadership and staff of the authority for their timely execution of tasks and extended his gratitude. He stated, “I am aware of your cooperation with various organizations, which motivates us to collaborate with you further.”
It is worth mentioning that, according to the memorandum, winter assistance worth a total of $69,500 will be provided to protect 1,600 families from the harsh winter conditions. This aid includes the distribution of two blankets and two children’s sweaters per family. A total of 1,000 families in Kabul and 600 families in Nangarhar will benefit from this initiative.
