Kazakhstan Delivers 3.5 Tons of Medicines and Primary Healthcare Aid to Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority

Today, in morning, the Republic of Kazakhstan delivered 3.5 tons of medicines and primary healthcare aid to Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority  through Kabul International Airport.
The handover ceremony was attended by Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Serik Zhumangarin, the Deputy Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Alhaj Mullah Abdul Wali Saranwal (Haji Waris), the Director of Finance and Administration of the Authority, Molvi Mohammad Alam Almyar, the Director of International Relations, Molvi Abdul Rahman, along with several senior officials of the IEA and representatives of the media.
Honorable Alhaj Mullah Abdul Wali Saranwal expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan’s humanitarian assistance, emphasizing that these aids will be distributed to those in need during emergencies based on requirements. He further noted that last week, Kazakhstan had also sent 36 wagons of food and non-food aid to Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority  via the Hairatan port.
In his speech, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Serik Zhumangarin, stated, “Today, we provided 3.5 tons of medicines and primary healthcare aid to the people of Afghanistan, and last week, we sent 36 wagons of food and non-food aid. This support will continue in the future.”
In conclusion, the Deputy Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority once again expressed appreciation for Kazakhstan’s humanitarian cooperation and voiced hopes for the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and investment.
