Distribution of Non-Food Items to 50 Earthquake-Affected Families in Kunar Province

Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, with the support of one of its operational partners, the Agha Khan Foundation for Habitat, distributed five types of non-food items to 50 families of martyrs, the injured, and those affected by the disaster in the Diwagala Valley of Kunar Province.
During the distribution program, the head of the Kunar Province Disaster Management Authority, Molvi Mohammad Mubeen Omar Maftun, stated that today, in coordination with the Aga Khan Foundation for Habitat, non-food aid was distributed to 50 families of martyrs, the injured, and those affected.
At the same time, Shukrullah Madani, the communications director of the foundation, said that the aid included 50 tents, 88 tarpaulins, 50 kitchen kits, and 50 hygiene kits.
Additionally, the recipients of this aid expressed their happiness and gratitude but emphasized that the affected people still need further assistance.
