A Coordination Meeting was held between Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and Several International Organizations

This Wednesday afternoon, a meeting aimed at enhancing coordination and strengthening cooperation between Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and several international organizations was held at ANDMA headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Hafiz Mohammad Yousuf Hammad, Head of Information and Publications, and Mohammad Burhanuddin Shinwari, Foreign Relations Officer, representing ANDMA, along with representatives from the organizations ACTED, DRC, NAC, CWSA and IRC.
During the session, both parties discussed expanding bilateral cooperation, accelerating the aid delivery process, addressing existing challenges in the operations of relief organizations, increasing the level of assistance and preventing the return of allocated budgets for the disaster sector.
In conclusion, the parties presented effective plans and programs and emphasized the continuation of cooperation. It was also agreed that similar coordination meetings would be held in the future at the leadership level between ANDMA and the partner organizations.
