ANDMA and Good Neighbors International for Afghanistan signed a MoU for Joint Cooperation

Today on Wednesday, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met with Abdul Sattar Saed, the General Director of Good Neighbors International for Afghanistan, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint cooperation.
During the meeting, Alhaj Turabi Sahb welcomed the delegation from the organization and stated that the authority has created favorable conditions for organizations to carry out effective activities in the interest of the Afghan people. He added that efforts are ongoing to provide further facilities to enable greater benefits for the Afghan population through such assistance.
Meanwhile, Mr. Abdul Sattar Saed expressed gratitude for the cooperation of the authority’s acting head and affirmed that the organization is committed to implementing its ongoing project with high quality and efficiency.
It is noteworthy that, at the conclusion of the meeting, a joint cooperation MoU valued at $90,000 was signed between the two entities. Under this agreement, Good Neighbors International will construct a 100-meter-long retaining wall in Joraghal village, Nijrab district, Kapisa province, to mitigate flood risks. The project also includes the rehabilitation of drinking water sources, conducting public awareness programs on climate change and hygiene, distributing hygiene kits to 120 families, and providing 1,000 clothing packages for children to needy families.
