ANDMA and the Afghan Women’s Coordination and Progress Organisation signed an MoU for a total value of $10,626

Today in morning, His Excellency Molvi Mohammad Alam Alamyar, the Director General of Finance and Administration of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, met with His Excellency Mohammad Noor Salehi, Deputy of the Afghan Women’s Coordination and Progress Institute and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
During the meeting, His Excellency Molvi Mohammad Alam Alamyar stated that the signing of this memorandum is a significant step toward providing assistance to the affected people of the country, and we welcome the implementation of such projects.
Additionally, His Excellency Mohammad Noor Salehi, Deputy of the Afghan Women’s Coordination and Progress Institute, provided information about the ongoing project and pledged to implement the memorandum in a timely and transparent manner.
In conclusion, both parties signed the memorandum of cooperation, valued at a total of $10,626. According to the agreement, the aforementioned institute will provide assistance to 245 families in the event of a disaster, following a survey and with the support of the World Food Programme, in the districts of Paktia. Assistance will be provided either in cash or in kind. For cash assistance, each family will receive 5,800 AFN for two periods and for in-kind assistance, each family will receive 100 kg of flour, 9.1 kg of oil, 1 kg of salt, and 12.5 kg of lentils.
