The Acting Head of ANDMA Visited the Administrative Affairs of the Authority’s Directorates in Nangarhar and Laghman Provinces and Monitored the Service Delivery at the Returnees’ Camp in Torkham

Today, on Friday, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Haji Mulla Nooruddin Turabi, traveled to Nangarhar Province to enhance the administrative affairs of the authority’s provincial directorates.
Honorable Alhaj Turabi Sahb met individually with each employee of these directorates, listened to their challenges, suggestions, and opinions and encouraged all staff to provide effective and timely services.
Furthermore, Alhaj Turabi Sahb visited the warehouses of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority in Nangarhar Province and issued necessary instructions to the relevant officials regarding the storage, organisation and arrangement of food and non-food items, maintaining order, and distributing supplies to those in need based on requirements. Similarly, Alhaj Turabi Sahb oversaw the process of delivering all legal documents to the provincial directorates, ensuring the understanding of the documents’ contents, their review by the relevant director, their implementation and the preservation of all documents in files and also he distributed cash among the employees.
Subsequently, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority visited and inspected the service delivery process at the camp established by the authority at the Torkham border point.
During this visit, Honorable Alhaj Turabi Sahb, while engaging in discussions with the camp’s officials and staff, commended their efforts in addressing the basic needs of returning compatriots and encouraged them to provide more effective, prompt, and humane services.
Thereafter, Honorable Alhaj Turabi Sahb proceeded to Laghman Province, where he visited the offices of the Directorate of Disaster Management in Laghman and met individually with each employee of the directorate, listened to their challenges, suggestions and opinions, and encouraged all staff to deliver effective and timely services.
In conclusion, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority urged the directorate’s employees to treat clients with kindness, perform their duties promptly and without delay, utilize public resources appropriately, adhere to administrative principles and serve the people while leveraging their professional expertise for the country’s progress. Lastly, he distributed cash among the employees of the directorate.
