The Acting Head of ANDMA had a Visit to Panjsher Province after Reviewing the Administrative Affairs in Badakhshan Province

Today, on Monday, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, continued his official visits to various provinces to reform the administrative affairs of provincial directorates. He arrived in Panjsher Province to inspect the Directorate of Disaster Management and closely reviewed its operational processes.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb met individually with each employee of the directorate, listening to their challenges, suggestions and recommendations and encouraged them to provide timely and effective services.
Additionally, Alhaj Turabi Sahb visited the storage facilities for food and non-food items in Takhar Province, issuing necessary instructions to the relevant officials regarding the maintenance, organization and distribution of these materials based on the needs of the people.
Furthermore, the Acting Head examined the process of sending legislative documents from the central office to provincial directorates, ensuring proper understanding of the documents’ content, their review by relevant directors, their implementation, and the proper archiving of these documents.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb also comprehensively monitored the effective use of promotional materials and the progress of ongoing projects in the province.
It is worth mentioning that some time ago, delegations were sent from the central office to assess and evaluate the operations of provincial directorates. These delegations identified certain shortcomings, which were communicated to all provincial directorates through a unified directive by the Acting Head, along with guidelines to address these issues. Now, to follow up on the practical resolution of these shortcomings, Alhaj Turabi Sahb conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the activities and services of the directorate in Panjsher Province.
The objectives of this visit include gathering feedback, addressing challenges and collecting suggestions from provincial employees, organizing offices, creating a disciplined work environment, ensuring full coordination with provincial authorities, properly archiving documents, establishing standard storage facilities, addressing deficiencies and implementing preventive projects.
During this visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb also met with Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, the Governor of Panjsher Province. The two sides discussed methods of disaster management, timely assistance to affected individuals and the implementation of preventive projects to mitigate potential risks.
In conclusion, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority encouraged the directorate’s employees to treat clients respectfully, perform their duties promptly and without delay, utilize public resources appropriately and adhere to administrative principles. He urged them to be true servants of the people and to use their professional expertise for the country’s progress. Additionally, he distributed cash assistance to the employees.
