The Acting Head of ANDMA had a Visit to Faryab Province

On Wednesday, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, continued his tour of several provinces to enhance the administrative operations of the provincial directorates. During his visit to Faryab Province, he inspected the Provincial Disaster Management Directorate and reviewed its operational processes.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb held individual meetings with each staff member of the directorate, listening to their challenges, suggestions, and opinions. He encouraged all employees to deliver effective and timely services to the public.
Additionally, Alhaj Turabi Sahb visited ANDMA warehouse in Faryab Province and issued necessary directives to the relevant officials regarding the proper storage, organisation and arrangement of food and non-food items, as well as maintaining order and distributing supplies to those in need based on priority. He also oversaw the process of ensuring that all legislative documents reach the provincial directorates, verifying their comprehension, review by the respective director, implementation and proper archiving of these documents.
Furthermore, Alhaj Turabi Sahb conducted a comprehensive review of the effective use of all promotional materials and ongoing projects in the province.
It is worth noting that some time ago, delegations from the central office were dispatched to all provinces to monitor and evaluate operational processes, identifying certain shortcomings in some provinces. These issues were communicated to all provinces through a unified directive by the Acting Head, along with guidelines to address them. Now, Alhaj Turabi Sahb is personally visiting to ensure these deficiencies are resolved and to thoroughly assess the service delivery in the province.
The objectives of the Acting Head’s visit include gathering feedback, addressing challenges and incorporating suggestions from provincial staff, organizing offices, fostering a disciplined work environment, ensuring full coordination with provincial authorities, maintaining proper document archives, establishing standard warehouses, addressing shortcomings and implementing disaster prevention projects.
During his visit, Alhaj Turabi Sahb also met with the esteemed Abdul Ahad Fazli, the Governor of Faryab Province. The two discussed strategies for disaster management, timely assistance to affected individuals, and the implementation of preventive projects to mitigate risks.
In conclusion, the Acting Head of ANDMA encouraged the staff of the Provincial Disaster Management Directorate to treat clients courteously, perform their duties promptly and without delay, use public resources responsibly and adhere to administrative principles. He urged them to serve the people diligently and utilize their professional expertise to contribute to the country’s progress. Additionally, he distributed cash assistance to the employees.
