The Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority listened to the Issues and Suggestions of the Representatives from all Districts and Villages of Kabul Province
Today, in morning, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority listened to the Issues and Suggestions of the Representatives from all Districts and Villages of Kabul Province. This meeting was convened in accordance with the directive of the esteemed Supreme Leader (Aameer ul Momineen) who instructed ministers to personally listen to the people’s problems and address their concerns. On this basis, today, Wednesday, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, chaired by the acting head of the authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi Sahb. The meeting was attended by central directors, the Governor of Kabul Province, Alhaj Mullah Aminullah Ubaid, religious scholars, representatives from all 14 districts of Kabul, tribal elders and a large number of local residents.
The meeting commenced with the recitation of a few blessed verses of Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Khushhal Zamani.
At the beginning of the gathering, Molvi Najibullah Anwari, head of the Kabul branch of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, warmly welcomed all participants and expressed his gratitude for their presence at this significant gathering.
Molvi Anwari stated that both natural and man-made disasters have caused widespread devastation, and the purpose of today’s meeting was to hear the people’s concerns and suggestions and take necessary actions to address their problems.
Qari Bacha Jan, a representative from Estalef District of Kabul, expressed his gratitude to Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority for organizing such a grand gathering where public can directly share their demands, issues and perspectives with the government. He further stated that they deeply sympathize with anyone affected by disasters in the country. It is crucial that the government and the people work together to implement preventive measures against such incidents. He then outlined all the problems faced by his district and requested cooperation from the authorities.
Similarly, Haji Gul Muhammad, a representative from Bagrami District thanked the officials of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority for holding such an important meeting. He stated that they are pleased with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and will always remain fully cooperative with the officials. However, they expect this authority to undertake fundamental projects for them.
Haji Gul Muhammad presented all the challenges his district faces and emphasized that winter brings even more difficulties for their community, urging the government to take urgent and fundamental measures for their district.
Following this, the representatives from all districts of Kabul took turns to share the challenges and concerns of their respective districts and villages with the authorities, calling for increased collaboration.
The Governor of Kabul, Alhaj Mullah Aminullah Ubaid welcomed all representatives, religious scholars and tribal elders and thanked the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority for organizing such a significant and important meeting.
Towards the end of the meeting, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi Sahb, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, welcomed the Governor of Kabul, officials, district representatives, religious scholars, and tribal elders.
In his speech, Turabi Sahb emphasized, “We are not rulers over the people; rather, we are their servants. The people have greatly cooperated with us, and they will always provide us with valuable advice.
The meeting concluded with a final Dua.
