The NGO’s Disaster Risk Reduction Technical Group Pledged to Work on Action Plan for the Implementation of Afghanistan Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction

NGOs Meeting

The NGO’s Agencies working group meeting took place in conference hall of office of state Minster for the Disaster Management today.
Najib Aqa Fahim state Minster for Disaster Management in inauguration of this session said the NGO’s technical group must work on Understanding disaster risk, Strengthening disaster risk governance to manage disaster risk, Investing in disaster risk reduction for resilience and Enhancing disaster preparedness for effective response and to “Build Back Better” in recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction.
State Minister added: NGO’s played huge role in the current and past years in the sector of preparedness and disaster affected people but for bringing of better coordination and collaboration we must make a good reporting template. 
Review of the previous meeting action point, updates of NGOs on DRR (Achievements and Plans 2019 ). Updates of NGO’s on humanitarian response (Achievements 2018 and Plans for 2019), Developing action plan for the implementation of Afghanistan strategy for disaster risk reduction and ANDMA contribution to NGO’s.
