An MoU Worth 98,357 USD was Signed Between ANDMA and the Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA)

Today in afternoon, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Honorable Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the Head of the Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan, Honorable Riazullah Wali, at his office and signed a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation.
In his remarks, Alhaj Turabi Sahb welcomed the delegation from the RRAA and emphasized the need to create opportunities for fundamental services for the Afghan people. He further stated, "We always strive to carry out the work of institutions without delay so that the Afghan people can benefit from assistance."
Subsequently, Mr. Riazullah Wali, Head of the RRAA, expressed gratitude to Alhaj Turabi Sahb for facilitating the meeting and added, "This authority has consistently cooperated with us, and we are always striving to deliver aid to the people." Mr. Wali noted that since Alhaj Turabi Sahb’s appointment, the authority's operations have seen increased efficiency and transparency.
It is noteworthy that at the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding worth a total of 98,357 USD was signed between the two parties. Under this agreement, 320 skilled and unskilled individuals will be employed in 12 villages of the Pushtoon Zarghoon District in Herat Province. Skilled workers will receive the equivalent of 10 USD in Afghanis per day, while unskilled workers will receive the equivalent of 5 USD in Afghanis per day. Additionally, public awareness campaigns will be conducted for the residents of the relevant villages. Furthermore, 12 water management committees will be established and training on water conservation will be provided. Alongside this, educational workshops on natural resource management will be held for selected community members, and information on sustainable agriculture, water conservation, and soil erosion control will be disseminated.
