A Memorandum of Cooperation was Signed Between ANDMA and Geneva Call, Valued at $328,797

Today in morning, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, His Excellency Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the Head of Geneva Call in Afghanistan, Mr. Fahad Abbasi, at his office and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
At the outset, His Excellency Alhaj Turabi Sahb welcomed the delegation from the institute and stated that efforts are underway to establish closer ties with international donors and to discuss support for vulnerable, needy and deserving families in Afghanistan who have suffered losses due to natural disasters.
Subsequently, Mr. Fahad Abbasi, Head of Geneva Call in Afghanistan, provided details about their new project, expressing their commitment to securing increased assistance from international donors for the suffering people of Afghanistan, particularly those affected by natural disasters.
It is noteworthy that at the conclusion of the meeting, a cooperation agreement valued at $328,797 (three hundred twenty-eight thousand seven hundred ninety-seven dollars) was signed between the two parties. Under this memorandum, two-day workshops for 25 participants on effective access to humanitarian aid and
international humanitarian law will be held in the provinces of Kabul, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Kunduz, Balkh, Bamyan, Kunar and Parwan.Additionally, in Kabul, bilateral and multilateral coordination meetings for four individuals, and similar meetings in the aforementioned provinces, will be organized to enhance effective access to humanitarian aid and international humanitarian law.
Furthermore, national and international workshops for 25 participants on humanitarian aid and international humanitarian law will be conducted in Kabul. A three-day workshop for 25 participants at the national level, focusing on effective access to humanitarian aid and international humanitarian law, will also be held.
