The Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority Visited Zeri Baba Camp and Met with the Executive Director of the Malaysian Medical Relief Society

His Excellency Mawlavi Nooruddin Turabi, the Director General of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, who traveled to Kunar province under the guidance of His Eminence Amir al-Mu'minin (may Allah protect him), visited the Zeri Baba Camp in Noor Gul district. During the visit, he listened to the challenges and issues faced by the camp’s residents.
While inspecting various sections of the camp, Alhaj Turabi Sahb, after being informed of the problems by the responsible officials, stated that starting tomorrow, efforts to organize the camp will begin. He explained that the tents will be collected, the camp area will be leveled, and the tents will be realigned in an orderly manner. Additionally, if needed, roads within the camp will be paved with gravel. He further noted that the camp will be equipped with facilities such as a mosque, restrooms, and drinking water to provide greater convenience for the earthquake-affected residents.
Meanwhile, the Director General met with Mr. Hafiz Ahmad Amirul, the Executive Director of the Malaysian Medical Relief Society, and discussed the provision of drinking water for the earthquake victims in the camp. They emphasized the importance of coordination in implementing well-organized service delivery programs for the residents. The officials of the association also stated that they will dig several wells to provide drinking water in the Zeri Baba Camp.
