ANDMA has Purchased 26 vehicles from UAE and transferred them to the Provinces to ensure timely assistance to people affected by disasters

Based on the proposal of the respected authority and with the approval of the respected Excellency Amir al-Mu'minin (May Allah Protect Him), Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority acquired 26 vehicles from the United Arab Emirates. After completing the customs procedures, these vehicles were transferred to the provinces.
In this regard, some time ago, a three-member delegation led by Molvi Mohammad Alam Alamyar, the General Director of Finance and Administration of the authority, traveled to the United Arab Emirates. There, they purchased 26 vehicles, including 23 Toyota Hilux Vehicles, one Land Cruiser, one Excavator and one Dumper truck.
It is worth mentioning that today, these vehicles were transferred to the relevant provinces via the Islam Qala port after completing customs exemption documentation and affixing the authority’s logo stickers.
Notably, the purchase and transfer of these vehicles to the provinces will address significant challenges in surveying disasters and providing timely assistance to affected people across the country. The authority’s staff will now be able to reach disaster-affected areas more quickly and effectively manage the challenges arising from such incidents.
Meanwhile, the drivers from the respective provinces, who had come to Islam Qala to receive these vehicles, expressed their gratitude and joy upon receiving them. They stated that this would resolve their transportation issues going forward.
