The Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority and the President of the German Aid Institute for Afghan Children had a Meeting

Today, in morning, the Acting Head of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority, Alhaj Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, met with the President of the German Aid Institute for Afghan Children, Haji Mohammad Aleem and his deputy, Mustafa Shahab, at his office to coordinate efforts in providing assistance to returning migrants.
Alhaj Turabi Sahb welcomed the institute’s delegation and expressed his satisfaction with the charitable organizations that collect foreign aid for the needy and distribute it among those deserving. He appreciated the comprehensive efforts and cooperation of the institute’s team in supporting the oppressed people of the country during challenging times.
Furthermore, he emphasized that all institutes and organizations are expected to enhance their cooperation with families affected by natural and unnatural disasters and to continue their efforts to ensure aid reaches those in need.
In response, Haji Mohammad Aleem, President of the German Aid Institute for Afghan Children, thanked the leadership and staff of Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority for their efficiency and transparency in their work.
He also announced that for returning migrants crossing the Torkham border, food and non-food assistance will be distributed over four weeks. According to him, 200 families will receive aid each week, covering a total of 800 families.
Each aid package includes a 50 kg sack of flour, 10 kg of rice, 10 liters of cooking oil, 7 kg of beans, a carton of water (15 liters), a single-person blanket, and a plastic mat.
